SPHEIR includes projects that have an explicit focus on supporting greater access and inclusion in higher education, such as targeting financially disadvantaged students, and those from refugee communities. All projects have involved efforts to address gender and other aspects of inclusion, including providing a platform for female leadership, and adapting the content and delivery of academic programmes and student support services to make these more gender responsive.
